This year, Dubai will host one of the world’s most important events. Expo 2020 is a World Expo that will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from October 1, 2021, to March 31, 2022. The event was rescheduled from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021 due to Covid-19. Despite the postponement, the year 2020 was retained in the name for branding and marketing purposes. On November 27, 2013, the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) general session in Paris named Dubai as the host city.
